Step 1 · First Home Buyer Readiness Quiz

For each question, choose the answer that best describes your current situation. There is no “perfect” answer — we just want a realistic snapshot.

1. Property price you’re planning to buy
Rough figure is enough. This helps estimate your loan amount and instalment.
2. How much downpayment will you pay upfront?
Include booking fee and any extra cash top-up you’re comfortable with.
3. Preferred loan tenure
Longer tenure = lower monthly instalment, but more interest over time.
4. Your monthly net income
After EPF & tax. If applying jointly, use combined net income.
5. Existing monthly bank commitments
Amounts that already appear in CCRIS (or similar): car loan, personal loan, PTPTN, credit cards, etc.
6. Credit history & payment behaviour
Based on CTOS/CCRIS if you’ve checked before, or your best knowledge.
7. Employment / business stability
Banks prefer consistent income from the same or similar source.
8. Are you applying alone or jointly?
Many first home buyers improve their profile with a joint applicant.
9. Type of home financing you’re leaning towards
This doesn’t affect DSR, but helps us advise you later.
10. Other big monthly commitments (not always in CCRIS)
For example: parents’ allowance, childcare, tuition, big insurance premiums, BNPL, etc.
